May the Best Candidates Succeed!
While LSARA is actively participating in providing information on the candidates for the upcoming 2017 Election and providing candidate forums, we wish to ensure impartiality.
For the upcoming forums, the meetings where we determine what questions will be provided to the candidates, they will be attended only by executive and directors that are NOT running in the upcoming election.
The candidates that are members that are running are welcome to indicate they are members in their campaign as we see that as a benefit, not a barrier. However, no endorsements have been initiated by LSARA executive or directors nor will there be for any candidates.
It is important that the Ratepayers form their own opinion based on fact, based on how the candidates present themselves and who they think is the best fit for their division.
