Here is the Report that our last Series of Posts "Fluff or Transparency" refereed to and utilized in our comparisons. When you review the Reports in this Activity Report and the 2016 Activity Report" it becomes evident that the changes are not "Transparent" nor are they "Helpful".
While it is appreciated that LSAC has advertised they will respond to the Ratepayers Requests in this publication and answer the many questions on the serious issues and topics that LSARA and the Ratepayers have brought forth, we can only hope that these "Questions and Answers" will be "Not Fluff". LSARA truly hopes that they are indeed open for discussion and will answer any additional "Questions" that may arise.

If this is they way LSAC prefers to Communicate rather than in a Public Forum, then so be it until a new council is appointed.
Once the 2017-2021 council is appointed, LSARA will once again "Request" that Council and Administration meet with the Ratepayers in a "Open and Transparent" atmosphere to address the "Ratepayers Concerns" on a regular basis as necessary!

There is some great information in this "Toolkit" and when utilized may be a useful communication means. A process that LSAC desperately needs!! Why our County Manager (CAO) and Councillors have not utilized this toolkit is beyond us! What are they bringing back from all these conferences that they attend? Some of these Conferences are three day events!
Are their reports shared with the Ratepayers to indicate what the topics of discussion may have been? Is it necessary that all Council and Administration attend all the conferences that they do? Does it make economic sense that Seven Divisional Councillors and the County Manager attend? Is there clear benefit to each and every Councillor or is it just the 'popular' thing to do?
Good show.
