LSARA Fourth Public Meeting Presentation

Ensure Our County is on the Right Path for the Immediate Future

LSARA held our Fourth Public meeting along with our Annual General Meeting last night and it was a Great Turnout. Unfortunately, there were no Councilors in attendance at the meeting. We have provided the same power point that was reviewed at the AGM and we respectfully request that they please review the presentation.

We believe the Councilors of Lac Ste. Anne County should have no concerns and be supportive to LSARA in our quest for demanding that the New Alberta Minister of Alberta Municipals Affairs Conduct an Inspection into the Affairs of Lac Ste. Anne County.

LSARA as Representatives of the Ratepayers of Lac Ste. Anne County, have the direction to pursue the wishes of over 45% of the Electors of Lac Ste. Anne County as was evident by our Petition and previous efforts of the Electors.

The time is now for our Councilors to take Responsibility for the Electors Wishes to do the Right Thing and request this Inspection. This next step is very important for our new Council to be able to Proceed with a New Slate and Clear Understanding of the Current position our County is in.

The Councilors should have nothing to fear from an Independent Inspection. In fact, they can do as St Albert council has done and request the Inspection on behalf of Council and the Ratepayers. The process, if completed correctly, is a Positive, Effective and Acceptable Method made available by Alberta Municipal Affairs for Municipalities to Assess their Current Situation.

Once completed, they can then take the Suggestions of the Independent Inspection and Incorporate the Review to Ensure our County is on the Right Path for the Immediate Future.
